Who We Are
Pagemint(“we”, “us”, “our”) is a website design and development company operating in India. We can be reached at pagemintweb@gmail.com.
This policy explains how we handle your personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and its implementing rules.
Data We Collect
We collect two categories of data: information you give us directly, and anonymous usage data collected automatically when you browse the site.
Contact form (provided by you):
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business name (optional)
- Service plan of interest (optional)
- Your message / project description (optional)
Analytics data (collected automatically):
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Buttons clicked and forms interacted with
- Device type, operating system, and browser
- Approximate geographic location (country and city level)
- Referral source (e.g., Google Search, direct, social media)
- Core Web Vitals (page load and performance scores)
Analytics data is associated with a random identifier, not your name or contact details. We do not collect sensitive personal data, payment information, government IDs, or biometric data.
Why We Collect It (Purpose)
Contact form data is collected solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and follow up on your request.
Analytics data is collected to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are most useful, where people drop off, and how fast the site loads — so we can improve it over time.
We do not use either category of data for automated profiling or targeted advertising.
How Long We Keep It
We retain your contact form data for up to 12 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. After that period your data is permanently deleted from our systems.
Third-Party Services (Data Processors)
We use the following third-party services that process data on our behalf:
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)— We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and user behaviour. GA4 sets cookies on your browser (see the Cookies section below) and sends anonymised usage data to Google's servers in the United States. Google acts as a data processor under Google's Analytics Data Processing Terms. You can opt out of GA4 tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Firebase (Firestore)— Your contact form submission is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted on Google's infrastructure. Google acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement and is bound by Google Cloud's privacy and security commitments.
Firebase Email Extension— Once your form is submitted, the Firebase Email Extension uses your data to send a notification email to our team, routed through Google's email infrastructure.
We do not use Meta Pixel, advertising networks, or remarketing services on this website.
Cross-Border Data Transfer
Both Google Analytics and Google Firebase infrastructure operate from data centres primarily located in the United States. When you visit this site or submit the contact form, your data is transferred to and processed in the US under the protections provided by Google's Data Processing Addendum and Analytics Data Processing Terms. We rely on these contractual safeguards as the legal basis for cross-border transfer under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable rules.
Cookies and Browser Storage
This website uses the following cookies and browser storage:
Analytics cookies (set by Google Analytics 4):
- _ga — Expires after 2 years. Assigns a random identifier to distinguish unique visitors. Does not contain your name, email, or any directly identifying information.
- _ga_GVSMQJQF9V — Expires after 2 years. Stores session state (e.g., whether you are in an active session) for the specific GA4 property used by this site.
These cookies are set automatically when you first visit the site. They are used solely to measure aggregate traffic and behaviour — no advertising or remarketing is attached to them.
Functional session storage (not a cookie):We store a single timestamp in your browser's session storage to enforce a 60-second cooldown between contact form submissions. This is erased automatically when you close the tab and is never sent to our servers independently.
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or any cookies that track you across other websites.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the GA4 cookies will not affect your ability to use the site. You may also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent GA from collecting data across all sites you visit.
